As manager of the Dubliner Folk Pub in Oslo I have been lucky to hear some of the best Irish music over the last 10 years. I have heard so many different renditions of famous Irish songs that all sound like the same old song. Recently we were lucky to book in a new Irish band called Newfoundland. They, with there unique style and energetic passion bring a new life to the Irish scene. The atmosphere in the room explodes as soon as they start and the whole audience follows them all the night. This is the what Irish music should be like and hopefully other bands can learn what has been missing from Irish music for many years.
